Read the Sacramento, Ken Kerri manuals titled Operation and Maintenance of Wastewater Collection Systems, 8th Edition, Volume 1 & 7th Edition Volume 2. The manuals can be purchased from the Office of Water Products, California State University, Sacramento.
Do the chapter tests as you read, for example by Aug 25 class; you should have read chapters 1 & 2 and finished the test. Classes start at 12:30 PM and go until 3:30 PM. Along with the chapter test you will get two sets of math sheets each week, the B (beginning) math series is for people just starting out. The A (advanced) math is for people who have taken and passed a test before and need training for a higher test. There is no cost for the class, but a contribution of a ream of paper per student is appreciated, it will be given it back as handouts.
Taking this class does not guarantee you will pass. The more you study outside of class the better the chances are of passing. You can call me Lonn Rasmussen at work 801-943-7671 with questions and to sign up.
