WEFMAX/ANNUAL CONFERENCE FUNDRAISER

We are asking for your generosity in helping WEAU raise funds for Free Bikes 4 Kidz Utah. Your donated funds will be used to purchase bikes for kids. The bikes will be put together at the WEFMAX Conference in Park City from May 15-17, 2024. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated. You can read more about the cause and donate here.

  • The Pre-Conference Workshop will consist of a Microbiology and Microscope class with Steve Leach, a prominent wastewater protozoologist.
  • A boxed lunch will be provided following the workshop.

rmnastt / YP bike & hike

The 2024 Utah State Sporting Clays Championships will be held April 25-28 (Thursday thru Sunday), 2024, at Purgatory Clay Sports. The preparation for this triennial event will not allow for the course to be opened on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, for the Rocky Mountain chapter of the North American Society of Trenchless Technologies (RMNASTT) Sporting Clay Shoot. We will miss not getting to see everybody that would attend and help this year, but we will be back in 2025.

Instead of hosting the sporting clay shoot, RMNASTT is joining with the WEAU YPs to sponsor a mountain bike ride and hike! Participants can enjoy a hosted boxed lunch at the conference center on Tuesday, April 23^rd, 2024 at 1:30PM and then depart for either a ride or a hike. There will be some sweet swag for riders and hikers available on Tuesday at lunch. There will also be a raffle with gift cards for the winners at the conference luncheon on Wednesday.

BIKE:

The bike ride will take place at the Bear Claw Poppy trails from 2:30PM to 4:30PM. The event is open to all conference attendees and will include rides for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders. There is no cost to attend and riders will be able to sign up on the RMNASTT website. If biking, you will need to provide your own equipment.

HIKE:

The hike will take place at Scout Cave Trail (about 10 minutes from the conference center) from 2:30PM to 4:30PM. All levels are welcome - beginner, intermediate, and advanced hikers. Remember to bring appropriate shoes, water, snacks, and sunscreen. There is no cost to attend and hikers will be able to sign up on the RMNASTT website.
