Demand for Utah SRF funds increased as a result of accelerated construction planning in the industry. Available funds through the current cycle are more limited than they have been historically. To continue fund the most important water quality projects and assist communities accomplish them affordably, the Water Quality Board implemented a competitive process. In this talk, we will: (1) outline the SRF funding capacity through 2025; (2) discuss policies that are shaping the application and loan approval process and how they are working; and (3) review strategies that applicants should consider to receive a funding award.
