To prioritize the health and safety of attendees, exhibitors, and vendors WEAU has decided that the 2021 Annual Conference will be a virtual event.  The importance of minimizing the spread of the illness was a key factor in this decision.  

As always WEAU plans to offer a great experience virtually that will include innovative topics, and informative sessions from forward-thinking leaders in the wastewater sector. Participants will be able to tailor their experience by choosing to virtually attend the presentations of their choosing

Over 35 different technical sessions will be presented in a virtual format through GoTo Webinar.  A WEAU Virtual Business Meeting will held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 15^th to announce award winners, reorganize WEAU leadership and play some virtual games for fun and prizes.  On Tuesday, April 13^th, Young Professionals will sponsor a Hosted Virtual Networking event during the lunch hour for all WEAU members that would like to connect with other members of the organization.

While we cannot gather for the traditional conference and its offerings, the requirement for training for our members is as important as ever.  Through the virtual conference, up to 1.7 CEUs or 17 PDHs will be available for those who attend.
